VISIT FROM A COUPLE OF VIP

It was so much fun having Katie and Garrett here for a few days. We were as delighted to see them at the airport as they were to be there. KC and Garrett didn't take long getting to know each other. Garrett was so cute with KC and KC was very accomodating, but did not approve of having his paws examined.

A little time spent feeding the ducks and leading KC to a couple of danger areas, time spent teaching Bert how to swim and retrieve sticks from the pond at Ft. Bueneventura, going to the Dog Park, hitting the play ground and Katie was ready to head to Pocatello to await the arrival of Jared and her parents.
Hopefully by the time I finish posting this Jared and Katie's parents will be in Idaho. Sorry it has been such a rough few days for them. Not much fun to load a U-Haul, drive to Laramie, Wyo. break down, unload, reload, and hopefully finish the drive from N.Y to Idaho with a smile on your face???

I am so happy the three of you are finally closer to home. Come often so we can continue to "Get Our Fill Of Gill" .

We enjoyed our visit with Jason, Taya and Corbon. What a jabber box that little guy is, non stop energy and a bundle of laughs. Gosh it is fun being a great grandma. Vickie and Bonnie got into the act and they were about as funny as Corbon was. Jason and Taya's home is beautiful and the area was amazing, fun walking trails all around and beautiful landscape - we were delighted with all the beauty.
I think the rain has finally stopped, today the sun has shown all day and it is a treat. Be Happy, you are loved.

Waiting for the Rainbow!

Logan

Golly, we have had so much rain...but I see a speck of blue right now, so maybe... The Air Show was spectacular and the Thunderbirds make chills run up and down as they pass overhead. We were watching from Mike and Bonnies deck...awesome... I have to admit I did not take this picture, it is one I tagged from Mary's blog. Every time I tried to get a picture they passed over before I located them.

Vickie and I are living our lives vicariously through Elizabeth and Katies blog. We wish we were in Maine with the Thomas family, and wish we could have been at Garretts 2nd Birthday party. Hopefully we will be seeing them in the near future.
In a talk by Henry B. Eyring called O remember, remember!! I read a statement that changed me and has influenced my life. He said that every day before we retire, we should ask ourselves this question..Did God send a message that was just for me - and did I see His hand in my life today? It is amazing when you watch for his messages they are always forthcoming. Are you watching for the message He is sending to you?
Kisses and Misses to all who are away from home, and to everyone have a wonderful fun filled summer making memories!
