It's true...the sun is shining and it is an absolutely beautiful day.
I so enjoyed having Jared in and out for a few hours over the weekend. I realized once again how old age is creeping up on me as I had to enter and exit the airport 3 times before I ended up in the right place the day I picked him up.
Now it is not surprising for me to get lost at night, but in the light of day!!
For over 6 years I have been under the impression that the gas gage did not work and so I had to make sure I never went over 200 miles without stopping to fill the tank. I was also sure that it would not get over 22 miles on the freeway.
WRONG...the gas gage works and it gets 28 miles to the gallon. The bad thing about this is that I no longer have an excuse to get a new car. But if you take into account that it leaks oil, I think the shocks are going, needs new wiper blades and I have a hard time getting in the driver seat with my gimpy leg, and it is nearing the 100,000 mark, that surely gives me a right to start looking. Now what can you do about that Jared??? If all of the above is just a figment of my imagination I will quit looking for a new car.

Life is like an onion;
you peel it off one layer
at a time,
and sometimes you weep.
